Veteran Nollywood actor and president of Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN), Fred Amata, has been dispossessed of his car by rampaging gunmen on Saturday, June 25, 2016, in Lagos.
The actor was said to have been forced into his Metallic Grey Lexus 470 SUV with license plates AGL 414 CU by the armed bandits and driven away.
They dispossessed him of his phones and other personal belongings and then dropped him at Fadeyi Bridge at about 2.30am.
Though he escaped without any injuries, is long time friend and associate, Fidelis Duker, said he was still shaken and the issue has since been reported to the police.
Duker while confirming the incident said:
"I spoke to him this morning through Obi Osotule’s phone. He is okay, only shocked."We hope the police helps him recover his properties.
