A man in Kentucky has been arrested for barging into a mosque to scream 'Jesus is Lord' during prayers.
The man identified as 37-year-old Luke Michael Roberts of Elsmere was arrested after burst into the Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati and interrupted prayer services.
According to the Police, Roberts entered the mosque in West Chester Township, Ohio, around 11:00 p.m., and shouted “Jesus is Lord,” while Muslims where praying.
When one of the worshipers confronted Roberts and asked him to leave, he allegedly said that he was a police officer and therefore, he did not have to leave.
When another worshiper called the police, Roberts tried to grab the phone from him and then fled the scene.
He was soon arrested by the police and has been charged with theft, impersonating a police officer, trespassing and disrupting a lawful meeting.
