Hollywood actors, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have confirmed they are going their separate ways via separate press statements regarding their divorce.
Angelina reportedly filed for a divorce on Monday, from her husband of 2 years. The couple who have been together for 12 years but got married a couple of years ago are reportedly parting ways over drug abuse, anger mismanagement and other things.
Brad told People magazine: “I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids. I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time.”
Angelina's lawyer told the press: “This decision was made for the health of the family. She will not be commenting at this time, and asks that the family be given their privacy during this difficult time.”
The couple have six children together.
