A man has been docked for tearing open his girlfriend's stomach and dragging out her intestines after she screamed her ex-husband's name during sex.
The 24-year-old man identified as Fidel Lopez, called the police in September 2014 to report himself after ripping out his 31-year-old girlfriend’s intestines with his bare hands.
His girlfriend, Maria Nemeth, was laying dead on the floor in the bathroom while Lopez called the police to confess his crime.
According to CBS Miami, Lopez, in a distressing call to the police said, “Hurry up, my girlfriend is in the bathroom.
“Like, I don’t know man, she’s not breathing! She’s gonna die, man! Come on, someone help her!”
Lopez admitted he was enraged when his girlfriend, Nimeth mentioned his ex-husband’s name twice when they were having sex. Reports claims Lopez returned to the unconscious girlfriend, mutilated her with various objects and pulled out her intestines using his bare hands.
He has been charged with murder and sexual battery and being held in the Broward County Jail without bond.
Prosecutors are seeking death penalty.
