Dolapo Badmos who is the public relations officer of the Lagos state police command has said that no police has a right to go through an individual’s phone as it is a private property. Badmos shed more light on the issue insisting it was wrong for the police to go through a person’s phone.
She explained that except the police have no right to do so, it should not be allowed as people have a lot of private things on their mobile phones.
She said: "Your phone is private, it’s your private property because people do alot of private stuffs on their mobile phones so it’s wrong. Police officers have no right to do that except there is a reasonable ground to do so."
