The two German archaeologists who were abducted in Jenjela village in Kaduna state have been freed.
Prof. Peter Breunig and Mr Johannes Behringer were released by their abductors in a village, along the Kaduna-Abuja road on Saturday.
The archaeologists were working with Nigeria’s National Commission for Museum and Monuments at an excavation site in southern Kaduna on Wednesday when they were kidnapped.
